What can the past teach us anyway? I mean REALLY!
I hate essays. I hate researching them, I hate writing writing them, I hate handing them in and I sure as hell hate getting them back.In summary, I've spent the last four days learning everything I possibly can about John Diefenbaker and his decision to scrap the Avro Arrow program in favour of nuclear missiles with no nuclear warheads (if you've ever wondered why you don't hear about the "great" Prime Minister Diefenbaker...this is why).
What possible use could this knowledge have besides helping me to create a paper doomed to be torn to shreds by Andrew-the-TA-from-hell? If you know of any (besides ammunition for the annual Harrison drunken political Thanksgiving dabate of 2006) please do enlighten me.
Bah. History...kiss my present-tense ass.
